The coworking movement in Australia is booming.

The Australian coworking industry is evolving and changing. It is attracting multiple sectors and industries (startups, freelancers, small business, government, corporate, education, real estate, architecture, space design, furniture design) in diverse locations spanning CDBs, suburban and regional.

We are partnering with GCUC* (Global Coworking Unconference Conference) for the 2nd national Australian coworking conference. It’s pronounced “juicy” because that’s exactly what its subject matter is: a big, juicy wave of awesomeness that’s changing the face of work as we know it. We’re riding on a wave of accelerated serendipity and helping make the future of work happen in a whole new way.

We invite you to join us for Australia’s 2nd national coworking conference/unconference and learn more about this exciting trend in the future of work from Australian and international coworking industry leaders.

The Australian chapter of GCUC has evolved from January 2013, when 150 people came together for two days for the first Australian coworking conference/unconference at Hub Melbourne and Inspire9. The coworking movement in Australia has grown dramatically since then.

In September 2014 at Sydstart, many of the Australian coworking operators, incubators and accelerators came together as an industry in a national hangout. Some follow-up working groups then formed, and as a result Third Spaces Group, Tank Stream Labs, Fishburners and StartNest have all put their hands up to bring GCUC Australia to life. The aim is to maximise our learnings, to be part of a growing national and global movement, and to partner with GCUC to create the first GCUC Australia.

Join us June 4 and 5! Tickets here!

*What began in 2006 as a simple “Coworking Meetup” for about 30 held in a bar in Austin, TX during SXSW, GCUC USA is now a three day program including keynotes, panels, unconference breakouts, group dinners and a trade show expo. After drawing over 300 people from over 11 countries this past May, it’s time for GCUC to truly go global. And GCUC Australia will be the first to be part of the GCUC global platform for learning.
